1) Data controller

2) What data we process and why

• Enquiries via the form, phone, email or messages – name, phone number, email, information about your dog, the dates and your message. We need these to reply and arrange the service (pre-contractual steps).
• Dog hotel stays, daycare and dog sitting, grooming – data from the agreement and the Dog Profile: name, date of birth, address, phone, email, emergency contact, information about your dog and its health, microchip and vaccination record number. We need these to perform the contract and to look after your dog safely.
• Accounting and tax documents – data on invoices and receipts. We are required to keep these by law.
• Photos and videos – we photograph dogs during their stay and send the photos to their owners. We only publish photos on our website and social media with your consent given in the agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time and we'll remove the photo.
• Reviews – on our website we quote public reviews from Google and Firmy.cz using only the first name and the initial of the surname. We'll remove a review from the website on request.

3) How long we keep data

• Enquiries that did not lead to a contract: no longer than 12 months from the last communication.
• Agreements and the Dog Profile: for the duration of our cooperation and 4 years afterwards (because of possible contractual claims).
• Accounting and tax documents: for the period required by law (usually 10 years).
• Photos published with consent: until consent is withdrawn.

4) Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share it where necessary: with our web hosting and email provider, our accountants, a vet if your dog needs treatment, and the authorities where required by law.

5) Website, map and cookies

This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. The Google map on the Contact page only loads after you click “Show map”; Google may then store cookies, and your choice is remembered in your browser. When you send the form, the sender's IP address is recorded to prevent misuse. The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees the visitor's IP address in the process.

6) Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, the right to data portability and the right to object. You can withdraw any consent you've given at any time. Simply write to info@dogresort-celadna.cz. If you're not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz).

7) Effective date

This information applies from 20 October 2026. This is a translation; the Czech version is binding.
